named after T.K.Zhurgenov

Baturina Olga Vladimirovna is Professor of History and Theory of Art department at Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K.Zhurgenov (where she initiated the opening the first in the history of Kazakhstan PhD program on art specializations), candidate of art studies, member of Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, author of the Concept of cultural policy 2014. Author of “Landscape painting” monograph and more than 30 articles in various scientific publications of Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, including “Masters of art of Kazakhstan”, “Masterpieces of Kazakh art”, “Cultural polylogue”.

Ms Baturina initiated creation at “Bilim zhane Madiniet” TV channel of the “History of one masterpiece”, the television series of programs, which were devoted to the work and life of prominent Kazakh and foreign artists: Abilkhan Kasteyev, Ural Tansykbayev, Aubakir Ismailov, Zhanatai Zhardenov, Rafael Santi, Kazimir Malevich, Vincent Van Gogh and others. Olga Vladimirovna also speaks as the expert in analytical series of television programs called Cultural Code.

Ms Baturina is awarded for the special achievements in sphere of education of Kazakhstan with the medals “Honored worker of education”, “For the professional achievements”.
